Happy Valentine’s Day

My dearest love, Shannon,

Stop me if you’ve heard this one…

A guy walks into a church, takes a seat
Sees a girl that catches his eye
Tells her he’s not looking for marriage
They fall for each other and end up lovers
They laugh, cry, hold on tight, make it work for a little while…

Only, this time when the tail lights fade into the dark, they guy and girl are leaving together.

We said, “We could be married!”  And so we were.  When I said I do, I meant that I will till the end of all time.  I can’t imagine life without you.  Now you’re my whole life, now you’re my whole world.  You are the Serenity to my Cap’n Tight Pants.  The only one for me is you and you for me.  You fill my heart with gladness and take away all my sadness.  Everything I am and have is because of you.  You make me better than I was and more than I am.

You’re the one I want to go through time with.  I wanna make your world better than its ever been.  You just don’t realize how much I love you.  I need your love, because I’m crazy for you.  You got me wrapped around your little finger so baby please don’t treat me bad.  Just let me be the one to hold you.

I’m forever yours, and I’m so glad that I got you babe.  You’re simply the best, you’re my girl, and you’re amazing just the way you are.  And I may be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic you’re looking for.

Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure.  I’m so in love with you, it just keeps getting better. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side, for ever and ever.  As long as old men sit and talk about the weather; as long as old women sit and talk about old men.  Isn’t that the way that love’s supposed to be?

Looks like we made it; look how far we’ve come, my baby. We might’ve took the long way. We knew we’d get there someday. They said, “I bet they’ll never make it,” but just look at us holding on. We’re still together, still going strong.

Look into my eyes, you will see what you mean to me. Look into your heart, you will find there’s nothing there to hide. There’s no love, like your love. I can’t help it, there’s nothing I want more. You know it’s true, everything I do, I do it for you.
